Oakton, VA – The redevelopment project at 3033 Chain Bridge Road in Oakton is moving forward, with the developer, EYA, preparing the next steps in the planning process.
On July 21, 2026, Options for Oakton (O4O) and Smart Growth for Oakton (SG) shared that EYA reached out to inform them that they are working to submit new concept plans for the property in August. Following the submission, the developer anticipates beginning community outreach efforts in late summer or early fall to introduce the updated concept and gather feedback from residents and stakeholders.
Leading the current submission efforts is Mika Gelfond-Gross, EYA Senior Development Manager, who is coordinating the project’s next phase and working toward advancing the revised plans.
As part of its commitment to community engagement, EYA is hoping to schedule a community meeting within the next 4–6 weeks. The meeting will provide an opportunity for residents to learn more about the updated vision for the site, ask questions, and share input as the redevelopment process continues.
The 3033 Chain Bridge Road project remains an important topic for the Oakton community, and continued communication between the developer, residents, and local stakeholders will help ensure that community perspectives are considered throughout the planning process.
We will continue to share updates as more information becomes available, including details about upcoming meetings, concept plans, and opportunities for community participation.
